The HALO METHOD
One Piece, Tucked Beneath Your Own Hair.
The support wire sits over the crown, while the weft rests around the back of your head. Release your top layer to cover the attachment, then blend the lengths together. The pictured OLIS design also features a lace base and four support clips.
Halo is generally easiest to blend with fine-to-medium density hair that reaches the shoulders or longer. Straight-to-wavy textures and loose, low styles are a good starting point.
Very short hair, a blunt cut, very thick hair or limited coverage at the crown can make blending more difficult. If your own hair cannot conceal the attachment, ask for guidance before choosing this method.
For fuller-looking ends, choose a length close to your own. For added length, allow for blending through layers or styling. Compare both length and hair weight: the same weight spread over more length can look lighter at the ends.
Start with dry, detangled hair. Place each weft securely without pulling, then release and blend.
Gently detangle your hair and the Halo. Section up the top layer around the crown, leaving some hair around the face free.
Follow the fitting instructions supplied with your Halo. Place the wire over the crown and let the weft sit around the back of your head. Fasten the support clips as directed. The fit should feel secure without pinching or pulling.
Let your top layer fall over the wire and weft. Use your fingers or an extension-friendly brush to blend the lengths and check that the attachment is covered from every angle.
Take your time on the first try. Remove and refit the Halo if it feels uncomfortable. Do not cut the wire or base.
A little care, ready for next time.
Support the weft as you gently detangle from the ends upward. Remove the Halo before sleeping, showering or swimming. Keep it clean, completely dry and neatly stored between wears. Follow the care instructions supplied with your product before washing or using heat.
